Gauhar Khan learned horse riding in just one day for 'Siksha mandal'

Playing unconventional and difficult characters, Gauahar Khan is not a new name for her audience. She can go to any extent to achieve perfection in her character, be it drama, romance or action. And she did the same for her original series "Shiksha Mandal...India's Biggest Education Scam" to be released on MX Player.

when she learned that she had to ride a horse in a scene. What was it then, to make that one scene perfect, Gauahar learned horse riding, that too in just a day. In this series, Gauahar is going to be seen in the role of a Stunning police officer.

Talking to Gauahar about her experience of learning horse riding in a day, she said, “I have done a lot of stunts on my own in this show. There was a scene in the show where I am riding a horse and I didn't know how to ride a horse. But it is said that when your character demands something from you, you have to give your all to make it authentic. I also had no other option, so I learned horse riding. We didn't have much time, so I did it in one day. It takes about six months to be a confident rider, but I had to learn the basics in a day. However, all the credit goes to our action director Salaam sir, and his team who patiently taught me horse riding. To be honest, it was very difficult for me, but at the same time inspiring. I felt a sense of accomplishment at times while playing the character of Anuradha. We have shed a lot of blood, sweat, and tears on the show; We've done a lot! I am happy that I have lived up to the belief that our director Afzal sir reposed in me. It was his faith, which I did not disappoint."

Directed by Syed Ahmed Afzal, the series stars Gulshan Devaiah and Pawan Raj Malhotra in lead roles. With a socially relevant and talented cast, Shiksha Mandal will unearth corruption, fraud, and criminal conspiracy, which affects vulnerable students in India.
